NITI Aayog Meeting:
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann have also joined the list of Chief Ministers of opposition-ruled states who did not attend the NITI Aayog meeting.
Chief Ministers of three Congress-ruled states – Karnataka’s Siddaramaiah, Himachal Pradesh’s Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Telangana’s Revanth Reddy – have already announced that they will not attend the Niti Aayog meeting, alleging bias against their states. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin also said that he will not attend the meeting. Now West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has cancelled her Delhi visit. It is clear from this that she will not attend the meeting.
Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has announced to boycott the meeting. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh said that neither Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann nor any representative of the Delhi government will attend the meeting. At the same time, criticizing the opposition parties, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said, the opposition is desperate, they do not have any issue. They just spread rumors and make statements based on that.
