Nevertheless, it is noteworthy that his resilience during such hardships only served towards endearing him even more to those who believed in him.
Landmark Victory for BJP:

This event marked an end to Naveen Patnaik’s 24 years as BJD chairman when he ruled for six terms consecutively following his comeback after two terms absence due to alliance related reasons that had kept two major parties apart namely Congress and BJD before it began between them again after BJP’s exit because of the 200 Odisha MC election. The credit for winning this election goes to Narendra Modi’s excellent campaign that focused on development issues and anti-corruption measures

Immediately after taking office, the Chief Minister started acting in fulfillment of his campaign promises. At his first cabinet meeting Majhi directed that all gates of Puri Jagannath Temple which had been partly closed during COVID-19 pandemic be opened widely. The administration also focused on making the government more accountable and accessible. With COVID-19 restrictions lifted journalists who were barred from entering Odisha had a free pass to this department.
Focus on Tribal Welfare:
As a tribal themselves, all eyes are now on Majhi whether he will actually make good his promise of prioritizing the welfare of the tribal populations within Odisha. There are several plans by his government to provide education, healthcare facilities, employment opportunities and many others aimed at improving their living conditions. Majhi’s policies are expected to be guided by his personal knowledge of the tribes’ situation.
Economic and Developmental Goals:
Under his leadership, BJP wants to see wealth creation speed up in Orissa in order to meet various objectives related to the economy. Some of the areas where the party plans to put more focus include building up infrastructure, promoting industry growth and agricultural reform among others. It further intends to attract businesses within its borders so that people living there can be employed at what they are good doing and thereby enhance the entire economic.
Eradication of corruption from governance tops Mahji’s list This is likely going further than what he mean since there will be some tough actions lined up for stopping any leak of public funds through various schemes meant for developing people’s lives without such moneys getting lost on the way.
