After the marathon discussion in both houses of Parliament, Unified Waqf Management Empowerment, Efficiency and Development Bill (Expectation) 2025 became a law after the President’s approval. President Draupadi Murmu gave his approval to the bill late on Saturday night. After the President’s approval of this bill, the government notified through notification. The bill was passed by the Lok Sabha on 3 April and the Rajya Sabha on April 4. On the other hand, All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has opposed it. AIMPLB has said that it will lead a nationwide movement against the Waqf (Amendment) Act by coordinating with all religious, community-based and social organizations.

AIMPLB says that this movement will continue until the law is completely canceled. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) said that the support given by some parties to the communal agenda of BJP has completely exposed their so -called secular mask.
In a statement, AIMPLB emphasized that it will lead a nationwide movement against these amendments by coordinating with all religious, community-based and social organizations and the campaign will continue until the amendments are completely canceled. The board assured the Muslim community that there was no need to be frustrated or disappointed.
AIMPLB said that the leadership would not back down from any sacrifice in the case and will start a strong movement against it within the constitutional structure with all the forces seeking justice in the country.
