A very strange case has come to light in Bulandshahr. Here, two people died after eating roasted gram while two people are ill. Assistant Food Commissioner Vineet Kumar said that this incident took place in Barwala village of Narsera area on Sunday evening.
Vineet Kumar told that the family members bought gram from the local market and shortly after eating it, they started vomiting blood. He said that Kalua (45) and Golu (8) died shortly after, while two others fell ill and are undergoing treatment in a local hospital. Kalua was the grandfather and Golu was the grandson among the deceased.
According to Lavkush, a relative of the family, the gram was purchased from Daulatpur market. He said that after eating these, the family members started suffering serious health problems. Vineet Kumar said that a team from the Food Department has been sent to investigate the matter. We have started investigating the source and quality of gram.
After gram, everyone ate Shimla Murchi vegetable.
The gram was eaten by Kalua, his wife Jogendri Devi (40), eight-year-old daughters Shivani, Aarti, Mahi, Priya and six-year-old Golu son Naresh, his brother’s grandson. After that, at around eight o’clock, we prepared capsicum vegetable and had dinner. Late at night around ten o’clock, Lavya, Kalua, Shivani, Jugendri Devi started vomiting. When his condition deteriorated, his family admitted him to a private hospital in Daulatpur Kala town for treatment. Where Lavya and Kalua died during treatment.
