Let us tell you that while speaking on the topic of India-Vishwaguru in the Sahajeevan lecture series, Bhagwat talked about the need for an inclusive society. He said that the world should be shown that people of different religions can live together in peace in India.

This is absolutely not acceptable – Bhagwat

Regarding the construction of Ram temple, he said that it was a matter related to the faith of all Hindus. But now some people are trying to spread tension in the society by raising new controversies, which is not acceptable. Bhagwat also said that raising such issues and spreading controversy in the society cannot continue. Recently, a demand has been raised in the courts for survey of temples in cases related to mosques, but Bhagwat did not take anyone’s name in this regard.

He also said that some groups from outside have come with their fanaticism and want the return of the old regime, but now the country is run according to the Constitution. Now people in the country elect their representatives and centralization of power has ended.

Emphasis on diversity of Indian society

Bhagwat emphasized the diversity of Indian society. Giving an example, he said that the festival of Christmas is celebrated in Ramakrishna Mission. He said that we have been living in peace and harmony for a long time. If we have to show this goodwill to the world, we have to model it.

Bhagwat also said that there was fanaticism during the time of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, but after him Bahadur Shah Zafar banned cow slaughter. He said that if we all consider ourselves Indians then why is the language of dominance being used. Along with this, the RSS chief also said that all people in India are equal, whether they are majority or minority. The tradition here is that everyone can worship according to their religion, but it is necessary to maintain peace and follow the law.
