The war of words continues between BJP and Congress in Karnataka. BJP MLC CT Ravi was arrested for using derogatory words against minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar in the Legislative Council. However, he has now been granted bail. After being arrested, the BJP leader was produced in the court. Before getting bail, lawyer Raviraj Patil spoke to the media in this case. He told that a bail petition was filed before the magistrate.

Speaking to the media, lawyer Raviraj Patil said, “We filed a bail plea before the magistrate. The investigating officer had filed a petition requesting that the FIR be transferred to the MP-MLA court in Bengaluru. Keeping this in mind JMFC Belgaum directed the investigating officer to present CT Ravi before the Magistrate of MP-MLA Court, Bengaluru today itself. Also directed to send it to the jurisdictional magistrate.

CT Ravi called the allegations against him false

BJP MLC Ravi said, “Congress’s allegations are false, let the audio and video be confirmed, only then I will speak. I will not say anything now… I am not a person who abuses anyone personally. I didn’t abuse him, I don’t know why he felt that way. I didn’t make any personal comments against him.”

During the police action, a video surfaced of BJP MLC CT Ravi sitting on the road and questioning the police. In the video, Ravi is questioning the police officers. Ravi is saying, “Are you planning to kill me? Why have you brought me here? Your intention is to kill me. Why am I being taken on a tour like this?
