The ghost mine is closed
It is said that in 1990, 50,000 workers working in the mine lost their lives during mining due to some wrong process. The workers who lived near this mine got lung diseases. Thousands of workers working here died of coughing. The workers vomited blood. From that time onwards, Dehar Mines became one of the most dangerous places in Mussoorie. Local people say that there used to be limestone mines in Dehar. Due to continuous deaths, the mines were closed in 1996.
Those who pass by the mine die
Local people say that even today, voices are heard here at night. Someone is shouting for help from the passersby. Only 20-25 people live here now. People avoid going to this place at night. The important thing is that the number of incidents happening here is also increasing every year. The mines were closed in view of the accidents. Local people say that ghosts live here. People scream, shout and cry at night.
The helicopter has crashed
This mine has now turned into a forest. Big trees have grown on the Lambi Dehar mine. Even today, the sounds of people screaming can be heard here. A helicopter has also crashed here, the reason for which is not known to anyone. No one passes through this place at night even by mistake. The elderly people living nearby say that once upon a time there used to be a witch’s shadow on this place, due to which accidents used to happen here often.
