Local people say that there used to be limestone mines in Dehar. Due to continuous deaths, the mines were closed in 1996.

This mine has now turned into a forest. Big trees have grown on the Lambi Dehar mine. Even today, the sounds of people screaming can be heard here. A helicopter has also crashed here, the reason for which is not known to anyone. No one passes through this place at night even by mistake. The elderly people living nearby say that once upon a time there used to be a witch’s shadow on this place, due to which accidents used to happen here often.
