Now his fourth film ‘Deva’ has also been released in theaters on 31 January 2025 and perhaps ‘Deva’ can prove to be lucky for Shahid. Shahid’s ‘Deva’ is an entertaining film, which has everything from action to emotion. The original content that we always talk about, the same newness is also in the story of ‘Deva’. So let’s first tell you about the story of the film. In the film, Shahid Kapoor is playing the role of a police officer named Dev. ‘Dev’ is a freak policeman… he is not afraid of anyone. In the media, it is called mafia. Pavel Gulati is seen in the role of ACP Rohan Disilva, whose role is important in the film. Rohan and Dev are childhood friends, but both love each other very much. Both consider each other as brothers.

Rohan gets murdered in the first half of the film and this breaks down a lot and he himself works on this case. Meanwhile, Dev comes to know that there is an informer in his team, who conveys information about every police action to the killer. Then the twist comes when Dev reaches very close to the killer. It is from here that the whole story of the film changes. Who is Rohan’s killer in the film? Will Dev be able to reach the killer? And which is the detective of Dev’s team that leaks police information? To get answers to all these questions, you have to go to the cinema hall and watch the whole film.

Talking about acting, Shahid Kapoor looks full of energy. His hard work is clearly visible in this film, although he has already appeared on the big screen in the role of a policeman, but the kind of police officer he has played in ‘Deva’ proved to be the best for his career. It is possible. Pooja Hegde is seen playing the role of lead actress with her in the film, whose name is Diya and is a journalist and is also a girlfriend of Dev. You will like Shahid and Pooja’s chemistry in the film. The pair of both fits a lot on the screen. Pooja has also done justice to her character. At the same time, along with Pavel Gulati, Pravesh Rana (Farhan Khan) has also done amazing acting in the film. His character is also important in the film.

Talking about the direction, the direction of Roshan Andrews is also amazing. The way he has threaded the story in his direction, it is a commendable compliment. The songs in the film are few, but Jacks Bezoy’s music will also not disappoint you. Now let’s talk about some shortcomings of the film. The film runs fast at its normal speed till the first half, but in the second half it gradually becomes very slow, which will make you feel a little boredom. If the story is slowly faster, then later it compensates for its speed, but the opposite with ‘Deva’ is the opposite. Therefore, the makers should have paid little attention to the speed of the film. However, the reason for the slowness of the film may also be the character of Dev in the film, which you will know only after watching the film.
