The main reason for the water problem in the capital is the lack of water supply from the Ganga Canal and Yamuna River. At present, cleaning work is going on in the Ganga Canal, due to which the water supply from the Ganga Canal has been stopped. At the same time, the amount of ammonia in the water of Yamuna river has become much higher than normal, due to which the water purification plants are being directly affected.
