Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 pro Smartphone:
Chinese tech company Vivo is going to launch the Vivo V40 smartphone series in India on August 7. The company has given information about the launch of the smartphone on the official website and X handle and has shared its main features.
Two smartphones Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro will be launched in this series. This smartphone will have a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The company claims that the Vivo series will provide the thinnest smartphone in this battery capacity segment.
Apart from this, the smartphone will have a 50-megapixel ZEISS telephoto portrait camera. ZEISS cameras are known for high-quality workmanship and better light intensity. This camera has features like standard autofocus lens and manual focus.
Design, Storage and Colour Options
Both smartphones of the Vivo V40 series will come in the same design. Aura light ring will be available with their camera. At the same time, the smartphone has been given IP68 rating to protect it from dust and water. This rating means that the device can be used even in the rain.
The company will launch the base version of the smartphone ‘Vivo V40’ in three color options – Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple and Titanium Gray. Whereas, Vivo V40 Pro will come in two color options – Ganges Blue and Titanium Gray. The starting price of the base variant of the smartphone can be Rs 28,000.
Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro: Specifications
- Display: Both Vivo V40 smartphones can get a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness is 2,800 nits and resolution is 1260×2800 pixels.
- Camera: The company has confirmed that the smartphones will have a 50MP+50MP+50MP triple camera setup on the rear panel. At the same time, the company has provided a 50MP front camera in the phone for selfies and video calling.
- Battery and Charging: Vivo has confirmed that both the upcoming smartphones will get a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
- Processor: The company has said that the Vivo V40 smartphone can get Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor running on Android 14. At the same time, MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor can be found in Vivo V40 Pro. Funtouch OS14 can be found in both smartphones.
- Other Features: The phone has smart color temperature adjustment, distance sensitive lighting, studio quality Aura Light, and ZEISS professional portrait camera. Apart from this, in-display finger print and Type-C cable will be available.
