Questions raised on the security of hospitals
This incident has once again raised questions on the safety of hospitals. Earlier, a female doctor was raped while on duty at RG Kar Hospital in West Bengal and after that she was murdered. A few days after the incident, anti-social elements entered the hospital and vandalized it and also destroyed the evidence. After this, the doctors went on a nationwide strike regarding their safety. However, till now no strict steps have been taken to improve the security arrangements in hospitals.
