Recently Nitin came into limelight when he gave a unique idea to deal with people eating pan masala, gutkha and spitting on the road. Gadkari had said that photographs of those who spit on the road after eating pan-masala and gutkha should be taken and published in the newspaper. Gadkari was speaking at a program organized by Nagpur Municipal Corporation on Clean India on Gandhi Jayanti. Apart from this, Gadkari also talked about those who litter in public places.
He had said that the people of our country are very smart. Eat chocolate and throw its wrappers on the streets and when the same person goes abroad, he keeps the chocolate wrapper in his pocket. He behaves well abroad and throws him on the road here. The minister said that the people of India should also protect the roads of their area from getting dirty. No person should pollute the road by himself.
Giving his example, Nitin Gadkari said that whenever he eats chocolate these days, he throws away the chocolate wrapper after reaching home. Earlier, he also had the habit of throwing out its wrapper after eating food.
It is noteworthy that there is a lot of enthusiasm about Diwali across the country. People have started preparing to celebrate Diwali, one of the most important festivals of Hindus.
