A very shameful incident has come to light from Koriya district of Chhattisgarh. When a rape accused got parole, after coming out of jail, he raped his own minor daughter and niece. The police have arrested him. A man has been arrested for raping his 11-year-old daughter and 12-year-old niece, police officials said on Tuesday. According to officials, the accused man was already serving life imprisonment in a rape case and was released on parole.
Raped daughter and then niece
Police officials said that on October 22, an 11-year-old minor girl told the police at Baikunthpur police station that her father raped her after threatening to kill her at around 12 o’clock in the night on October 19. The girl informed the police that the accused person, her father, took her to the forest on the pretext of collecting wood on the afternoon of 21 October and once again raped her.
The surprising thing is that on the same day, on October 22, another 12-year-old girl reached the police station and complained that on October 21, at around five o’clock in the evening, when she was at home, her real uncle caught her and took her to the nearby forest and Raped her after threatening to kill her. He was absconding since the night of 21st October after the incident. This was the same person against whom his daughter had filed a rape case. He first raped his daughter and then his niece.
Was sentenced to life imprisonment in rape case
Police officials said that the accused man was serving life imprisonment for raping a minor girl in 2020 and was lodged in Ambikapur jail. Some time back he had come to his home after being released on parole. On the basis of mobile phone, the police arrested him on October 26 from Pahari under Bango police station area of Korba district. A case has been registered against the accused under sections of the Indian Justice Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
