President Bashar al-Assad has fled the country amid the ongoing civil war in Syria. After this, the rebels captured the capital Damascus on Sunday. As soon as the President ran away, a crowd of people entered the Rashtrapati Bhavan and looted the goods there.

The family of Syrian President Bashar al-Assar was in power in Syria for more than 50 years. His father Hafiz al-Assad was the country’s President for 29 years. After his death, Bashar took command of Syria in 2000.
