Won T20 World Cup title in cricket

Archery World Cup was held in April, in which India performed well and won a total of 15 medals. India won 7 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals in that tournament. Most of India’s medals came in team events, but Indian archers had to struggle in the singles events.
Youngest World Chess Champion
D Gukesh i.e. Dommaraju Gukesh won the World Chess Championship title at the age of just 18 by defeating Ding Liren of China. He became the world’s youngest chess player.
Women won the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy
India showed its dominance in the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy. The Indian hockey team won the Asian Champions Trophy title by remaining unbeaten in the entire tournament. Team India had created history by defeating China 1-0 in the final. This was the third time that the Indian women’s hockey team won this title.
