On November 24, during Jama Masjid in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, rioters pelted stones at the police and also fired from illegal weapons. The accused had used cartridges made in Pakistan and America in their weapons. This was confirmed on Tuesday when the police found five shells and one cartridge.

SP Krishna Kumar Vishnoi says that the miscreants had broken the CCTV cameras even before reaching Jama Masjid. After this, along with stone pelting, bullets were also fired at the police. Evidence of the same has been found. Now recovering the 9 mm pistol is no less than a challenge for the police.

SP says that our investigation has started on this point also. Soon those weapons which were used by the miscreants during the uproar will also be recovered. SP said that the miscreants carried out the incident with complete conspiracy. First broke the CCTV cameras and then opened fire. Told that the DVR found from the place where CCTV cameras were broken is being recovered. So that some important evidence can be found against the miscreants.

Shells and cartridges made in Pakistan found in metal detector

The police investigation team along with the team of local intelligence unit LIU was deployed for the search operation. LIU team conducted a search operation with metal detector in the riot areas. During this, LIU team recovered the shell and cartridge of Pakistan made MM. Two American made 312 shells were found at some distance. The search operation will be carried forward only with metal detectors.

Police will conduct search operation again

SP said that during the investigation, the investigation team has recovered one cartridge and one cartridge made in Pakistan and America. The search operation will be conducted again on the same road on Wednesday. Because during the uproar on 24th November, the miscreants had reached near Jama Masjid from this road and returned from this road pelting stones and firing. Therefore, cooperation of the municipality team will be taken. So that kiosks, handiwork and other evidence can be found during cleaning. The search operation was stopped due to darkness on Tuesday.

The police is yet to answer the question of how the crowd gathered.

The uproar happened as a result of a conspiracy or was instigated by someone on the spot. Investigation is going on but how did this crowd suddenly reach near the mosque? The answer to this question is yet to be found. Hundreds of people gathered in the morning when half the city was asleep and then created a disturbance. There are many questions that remain to be answered. However, police investigation is going on at many points. SP says that our investigation is to reach the conspirators. Teams have been deployed at different points to investigate. Soon the conspirators will also be exposed.
