Mumbai: Congress has released the third list for Maharashtra Assembly elections. As soon as this list came out, Congress and Samajwadi Party have come face to face in Maharashtra. Congress has made Dayanand Motiram the candidate from Bhiwandi West seat of Maharashtra, while Ajaz Baig has been made the candidate from Malegaon Central. Samajwadi Party has already declared its candidates on both these seats and Akhilesh Yadav had also gone to campaign for them. Now after Congress announced its candidates on these seats, the differences between the two parties have deepened.

Now Samajwadi Party will not back down!

Samajwadi Party President in Maharashtra Abu Azmi has made it clear that Samajwadi Party will not back down now. He said that Samajwadi Party has already said that if it does not get 5 seats then it will contest on all 25 seats. Abu Azmi has said that Maha Vikas Aghadi has betrayed SP and Congress has fielded its candidates on its 3 seats. Let us tell you that SP had already fielded candidates on 5 seats and had demanded 7 more seats. On this, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had said that he will continue his talks but now after the distribution of tickets by Congress, the situation has changed a bit.

What are the ticket distribution equations now?

Let us tell you that the distribution of seats in the two major alliances of Maharashtra, Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi, has not been finalized yet. The tussle over some seats is still going on in both the alliances. If seen, BJP has so far announced candidates for 121 seats, while Ajit Pawar-led NCP and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena have announced 45 candidates each. Whereas in the MVA camp, Congress has so far announced 71 candidates, NCP-SP 67 and Shiv Sena (UBT) 65. In this way, Mahayuti has to announce the names of candidates on 77 seats and MVA has to announce the names of candidates on 51 seats.
