Mumbai. Telugu superstar and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has reacted to the Sandhya theater stampede case during the premiere release of Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. Pawan said that Telangana Police is not responsible for the legal action taken against Allu Arjun. The law is equal for everyone and the police should work keeping in mind the safety of the people. He said that Allu Arjun should meet the family of the deceased woman first. Pawan praised Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and called him a great leader.
Speaking to reporters in Mangalagiri in an informal conversation, Pawan Kalyan said, “The law is the same for everyone and I do not blame the police in such incidents, they work keeping public safety in mind. The theater staff should have informed Allu Arjun about any issue in advance. Once he sat on the seat, he should have been instructed to vacate the seat if necessary.”

Let us tell you, Pawan Kalyan is a relative of Allu Arjun. Allu Arjun’s aunt Surekha is married to superstar Chiranjeevi, who is Pawan Kalyan’s elder brother. Pawan said, “It would have been better if someone from Allu Arjun had met the victim’s family first. Revathi’s death in this incident has shocked me. Allu should have told in advance that he is supporting the victim’s family. Should have expressed regret for the mistake. Even if it was not his direct hand.
Lack of humanity seen in Allu Arjun: Pawan Kalyan
Pawan Kalyan said, “There is a direct lack of humanity in this case. Everyone should have gone to Revati’s house and consoled her. People’s anger has arisen because of Allu’s shortcomings.” However, he struck a balance and said that cinema is a collective effort. It is not fair to hold Allu Arjun alone responsible for this incident.

Let us tell you, on December 4, Allu Arjun went to the theater where his film ‘Pushpa 2’ was being shown. There was chaos due to Allu’s arrival. In this incident, 35 year old woman Revati died and her son was injured. Soon after this, Hyderabad Police registered a case against Allu Arjun. He was arrested and granted bail after some time.
