‘The biggest corruption in this country is happening due to Adani case’
Congress MP and general secretary (organisation) K.C. Venugopal alleged that in the Adani case, ‘the biggest corruption is happening in this country and while the government is ready to discuss it, they are not ready to hear the name of Adani. We want to tell the country that this biggest corruption is happening, but the House is not ready to discuss it.

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said, ‘Rahul Gandhi was talking about breaking the Constitution with the Constitution book in his hand. His job was not to go there (Sambhal), in fact he had to complete his photo session, he does not sympathize with Sambhal or the people there. His sympathy is with his vote bank. Samajwadi Party and Congress want to attract each other’s vote bank, there is mutual rivalry between both, if one goes then others will also go after seeing him.

- Congress MPs Gaurav Gogoi and Manickam Tagore moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha on the issue of stopping Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi from visiting violence-hit Sambhal.
- Congress MP Vijay Vasanth moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha to discuss the urgent issues faced by fishermen of Kanyakumari. They cited serious challenges threatening their livelihoods, including overfishing, depletion of fish stocks, climate change and inadequate government support. The MP sought immediate measures such as financial assistance, modern fishing equipment, sustainable fishing practices, better healthcare, insurance schemes and disaster management plans to assist the fishermen and their families. He urged the government to act swiftly to protect this vulnerable community and ensure their survival and welfare.
- DMK MP Tiruchi Siva gave adjournment notice in Rajya Sabha under Rule 267 and urged the government to address the devastation caused by Cyclone Fengal in Tamil Nadu, requiring immediate release of Rs 2,000 crore from NDRF as interim relief . Also there is a need to depute a central team to conduct a comprehensive assessment for further financial assistance.

There will be a special discussion in both the Houses of Parliament on the occasion of completion of 75 years of the adoption of the Constitution. This discussion will be held in the Lok Sabha on 13-14 December while in the Rajya Sabha on 16-17 December.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal said in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday that the discussion on the Constitution in Parliament next week will be an eye-opener for the nation. Goyal also said that earlier fake discussions were being spread, which will be exposed. During his speech, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar intervened and said that fake things should never become real. Goyal was replying to the discussion on the Boiler Bill, 2024 in the House.
