At the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, ESPORS started as an official medal event with seven titles. India competed in only four of them. Other events in India were banned. Lokesh Suzy, director of the ESPORS Federation of India and vice -president of the Asian ESOSOS Federation, said in a release, “OCA’s decision to expand the ESPOR program to 11 titles is a great thing for India.” This will not only increase our chances of winning medals in Achie-Nagya 2026, but it also paves the way for more awareness and participation about new titles among our youth.
