On Saturday, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati posted on X and targeted the Congress. The Waqf Bill raised questions on the silence of the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. During the long debate in Parliament, he attacked Rahul even after not speaking anything on the Waqf bill.

BSP supremo and former Chief Minister Mayawati said that it is natural for Muslims to get angry over the Waqf bill. There was a long discussion in the Lok Sabha on the Waqf Amendment Bill. How appropriate is it to say nothing by the Leader of Opposition in this? He kept silence despite the opposition’s charge of being a case of constitution violation like a CAA.
