How to make saffron pudding?
On the day of Basant Panchami, people wear yellow clothes to please Maa Saraswati. Yellow dishes are also made for enjoyment on this day. First step- To make saffron pudding, first of all, soak one-fourth cup of basmati rice in water for about half an hour. Mash the rice soaked for thick kheer and remove the water.
Second step- Now boil a liter of full cream milk on medium flame in a pan and keep stirring milk for a while. When the milk boils, then you can add soaked rice to it and cook them on low flame.
Third step- Cook the kheer for about 20 minutes so that the rice becomes soft. Now you can add half cup sugar in it.
Fourth step- After this, soak 8 saffron thread in two spoon lukewarm milk for a while. Add saffron milk to kheer and cook for about 5 minutes.
Fifth step- To enhance the taste of kheer, let the kheer cook for five minutes by mixing half -spoon cardamom powder, finely chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.
Your saffron kheer is ready to offer it to the bhog. You can try saffron pudding both warm or cool, in both ways. If you want, you can also add finely chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios for garnishing. Not only this, some threads of saffron can also be used for garnishing this kheer.
