There is a flood of faith in Mahakumbh to take a confluence bath. In Prayagraj, the system collapsed due to a severe jam of several kilometers in Prayagraj for five consecutive days. The distance of two hours on the highway is being completed in ten hours. People are facing trouble due to millions of vehicles being stuck in jam. The administration was completely failed to get rid of the jam. The entry of cargo vehicles is not being done in the city.
Actually, for the last several days, there is a flood of devotees for bathing in Mahakumbh. The traffic system collapsed due to high pressure of vehicles. Every route coming towards the city got jammed. Police barricaded at different places to handle traffic. The situation got worse from bad. For five days, the queue of vehicles of devotees was seen for ten km. The fuel of vehicles is ending after being stuck in the jam for several hours. This is making the situation even more difficult. Along with the devotees, the people of the city have to face problems. Commercial vehicles are not entering Prayagraj. There is a shortage of milk-bread in such a situation. The supply has also stopped at the fair. If this is not normal, the food crisis may increase. Petrol and diesel shortage is also seen at petrol pumps. However, the situation was improved till late Monday night. The number of devotees was normal on Tuesday as well. Things are normal in the city.
On the other hand, cargo vehicles are unable to reach the city due to the jam. The stock of sugar, flour, maida, semolina etc. from the warehouse of all the traders in the city’s head Galla Mandi Muttiganj is almost over. Those who are left with goods are not able to supply retail shops according to the demand of the shops. Wholesale traders said that if the vehicles loaded with grains do not come in the city, then there is a furore for all the necessary food grains here.

Talking about Muttiganj Galla Mandi, the movement of cargo vehicles is closed here since 26 January. After Vasant Panchami, some vehicles also came here, but their number could not come more than being limited. At present, the stock of all the traders of Galla Mandi came to an end on Monday. Those who have left here, the stock of flour, sugar, semolina, maida, lentils etc. can end in a day or two.

Retail businessman Deepak Kesarwani said that when he went to take sugar in the wholesale market, he did not get it. When 50 kg of sugar was sought to a businessman, he gave only 15 kg. Wholesaler Rajesh Kesarwani said that he had ordered wheat for flour, but his truck has been standing in Bharwari for two weeks. Can’t understand what to do.
Chairman of Galla Oilseeds Trade Board, Satish Kesarwani said that the Chakghat border has been standing trucks for the past several days, but he is not being admitted to Prayagraj. Said that all of us traders request the administration to give admission to these vehicles in a scheduled time. Satish said that the stock of sugar, flour, maida etc. of all traders has also ended.
