Short film ‘Anuja’ has received a nomination in the Live Action Short category at the 97th Academy Awards. The film will now compete with films like ‘A Lean’, ‘I’m Not a Robot’, ‘The Last Ranger’ and ‘The Man Who Couldn’t Remain Silent’. ‘Anuja’ is directed by Adam J Graves and Suchitra Mattai. The film’s story revolves around Anuja, a nine-year-old girl who is forced to make an important decision between pursuing education with her sister and working in a factory. The film stars Sajda Pathan and Ananya Shanbhag in lead roles.
