Fifteen -year -old Karthik created history by getting a cut in ‘International Series India’

Indian Amachor Golf player Karthik Singh became the youngest player in the subcontinent to perform this feat in the Asian Tour Competition on Saturday by getting a cut in the ‘International Series India’. Fifteen -year -old Karthik played a card of Under 71 in the second round at DLF Golf and Country Club, which made his total score four overs. The cut score was eight under.

This is the second professional tournament for Karthik. This teenage player has previously participated in only one Asian Development Tour program. Karthik is playing with two -time Major winner Bryson Dachambu, Indian veteran Anirban Lahiri and Jokin Neemon of LIV Golf League in this competition. At the Under-15 level in the Amateur Golf, the world’s top ranked player credited his strong performance to become familiar with this golf course.

He said, “Playing with Bryson sounds like unrealistic. I usually watch him on television and I am playing in the tournament that is also involved. This is a great experience. “He said,” I knew that this is my home course, so I would get the benefit of it. If I play at my top level, I will be able to compete with professionals players.

Karthik said, “Today’s experience was good for me. I showed a good game with an under -under score. After the game of 11 Hole, my score was four under -under, but on this course I am also happy with the score of an under. Later started at 3:30 pm. Karthik has trained in this DLF Golf Academy.

During this time he has got full support from his family. This teenage player said, “Ever since I started golf, my family has always supported me. My coach has helped me in my game and DLF Golf Academy and Kailave have also helped me in my practice. . He is followed by Gaganjeet Bhullar’s number who has a two-over score.
