Anurag Kashyap cried bitterly at his daughter’s farewell
Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Alia Kashyap shared the video of her wedding on her YouTube channel. Just a month after her marriage, Alia has posted a video of sweet and sour moments, which is being praised everywhere. In this nineteen minutes long video, glimpses of the couple’s haldi, mehendi, cocktail party, wedding and grand wedding reception will be seen. Alia’s wedding was celebrated with great pomp. The video starts with Alia’s haldi ceremony which took place on the terrace of her house, which was attended by her close family and friends. In the video, an emotional Anurag Kashyap is seen crying while hugging his daughter.

After this, in the video, Alia was seen celebrating Mehndi with her family and friends at home. Alia had got a picture of her beloved pet dog in her mehendi design. At the cocktail party, Kalki Koechlin, Alia’s mother Aarti Bajaj and Imtiaz Ali were also seen dancing with the couple. Finally the day came when the couple vowed to stay with each other for the rest of their lives. During this, Anurag Kashyap’s son-in-law Shane Gregoire appeared emotional after seeing his wife Alia at the dump.

Anurag Kashyap emotional at daughter’s farewell
The video showed an emotional Anurag Kashyap crying and hugging his daughter on several occasions. He was also seen crying and resting his head on the shoulders of his ex-wife Aarti Bajaj. Many celebrities including Manoj Bajpayee, Bobby Deol, Naga Chaitanya and Nawazuddin Siddiqui attended Alia Kashyap-Shane Gregoire’s reception. Alia Kashyap is the daughter of Anurag Kashyap from his first wife Aarti Bajaj. She was dating Shane for four years, after which they decided to get married. Well-known director Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Alia Kashyap also got engaged in Mumbai in 2023. Then they got married in the month of December 2024.
