UP and Punjab Police have achieved great success in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. UP and Punjab Police have killed three Khalistani terrorists in the encounter. All three terrorists belonged to Khalistani Commando Force. Two AK-47 and two pistols have been recovered from the spot. All three had thrown a grenade at Gurdaspur post.

Three Khalistani terrorists have been killed in an encounter in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. A joint team of Punjab and UP Police has taken this action in Puranpur area. The encounter took place at around 5 am on Monday near Hardoi Branch Canal in Puranpur area.
The names of the killed terrorists are Pratap Singh (23) son of Swaroop Singh, Shahnoor Khurd Kalanur district Gurdaspur, Virendra Singh (23) son of Ranjit Singh, Aishban police station Kalanur, Gurvinder Singh (20) son of Gurdev Singh Budhiya Kalanur Gurdaspur Punjab. Two AK-47 and two pistols have been recovered. It is being told that all three were wanted in the case of attack on a police post in Gurdaspur, Punjab.

Punjab Police was busy searching for them. The location of all three was found in Puranpur, Pilibhit. Here, Punjab Police, with the help of Pilibhit Police, surrounded the three accused in the early hours of Monday. Police encounter took place near Hardoi Branch Canal.
