A senior BJP leader indicated that the party was considering all its options carefully. Depending on the best -working person, the Purvanchal background, a Sikh leader or a woman’s candidate is being considered. The previous elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Odisha show that the party leadership wants to keep its decision secret at the moment before making a big announcement. In such a situation, there is a curiosity among the people who will be the CM.
BJP’s potential female face
Rekha Gupta- Rekha Gupta, who has been elected MLA from Shalimar Bagh seat, is being seen at the forefront of this list. She is also the national vice president of the BJP’s Women’s Branch.
