PM will inaugurate the new phase of Namo Bharat Corridor today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the section of Namo Bharat from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar on Sunday. Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) will play an important role in connecting the national capital Delhi with major cities of NCR. RRTS will be connected to cities around Delhi. This will not only save people’s time, but will also provide relief from air pollution in Delhi-NCR.

Routes will remain diverted on these routes in Delhi
National Highway 9 (Sarai Kale Khan to UP Gate – both carriageways), National Highway 24 (Sarai Kale Khan to UP Gate – both carriageways), Ghazipur Road (Kondali to Noida Link Road), New Ashok Nagar Metro Station Road (Sarpanch Chowk to Holiday Inn Red Light), Ghazipur Nala Road (Kondali to New Ashok Nagar Metro Station), Chilla Border to New Ashok Nagar Metro Station and Noida Link Road (Chilla Border to Akshardham Temple). Restrictions will remain in effect.

Delhi Traffic Police also issued advisory
Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory regarding PM Modi’s program. There is a possibility of heavy traffic on some roads due to the VVIP visit in East Delhi. Diversion will be in force on the roads from 7 am to 1 pm. Traffic police have said that people traveling to Ghazipur Road, New Ashok Nagar Metro Station Road, Noida Link Road are advised to leave their homes with extra time for their commute.
