Actor Raghav Tiwari, famous for his role in Crime Patrol, was fatally attacked last month. The incident took place on December 30 in Mumbai’s Versova after he collided with a biker while crossing the road. According to Raghav Tiwari, after the collision, the bike rider pounced on him and attacked him fatally with an iron rod and a knife.

Describing the incident, he said that when this incident happened, he was crossing the road after getting down from his friend’s car. Despite apologizing, the bike rider started abusing him, which left him shocked. Raghav Tiwari said, “After this, he got down from his bike in anger and stabbed me twice. Then he kicked me in the stomach…I fell on the ground. He took liquor from the trunk of his bike to kill me. Took out the bottle and the iron rod.”

The actor told that the bike rider also slapped him and in self-defence, Raghav picked up a piece of wood and hit the bike rider on his hand. “The bottle fell from his hand, but this enraged him even more and he hit me twice on the head with an iron rod,” he said. After this shocking incident, the accused immediately fled from the spot and his friends took him to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he got stitches on his head.

Actors are disappointed with the police action

According to reports, Raghav Tiwari further said that the bike rider appeared to be a professional knife attacker. After the incident, Raghav reached the police station to lodge a complaint against the bike rider. Raghav expressed his disappointment at the police, claiming that they did not listen to him and failed to register the case. He claimed that despite CCTV footage of the incident, the police have not taken any action and the accused has not been arrested yet.
