Tuesday is the second day of the meeting of the Ram Temple Building Construction Committee in Ayodhya, UP. There is still a shortage of workers in construction work. L&T has been asked to increase the number of workers. At the same time, the challenge of making the parikrama route of the parkota i.e. Ram temple still remains. The completed works will be handed over to the Trust within 15 days. Arrangements for botanical beautification are also being made on 20 acres of land in the Ram Mandir complex.

Chairman of Ram Mandir Building Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra said that all the work of iconography inside the temple along with the ground floor, first floor and second floor of Ram Mandir will be completed by March. Ram Darbar will be consecrated on the first floor only by March. National and international level Ramayans which are not easily available will be kept in the sanctum sanctorum of the second floor.
Told that the work of the sculptures being made on 370 pillars installed in the temple will also be completed soon. STP Sewage Treatment Plant, WTP Water Treatment Plant, Fire Post Building and Electrical Services Building will be handed over to the Trust within 15 days.
He said that most of the works of Ram temple will be completed by September. Not only this, arrangements will also be made for botanical beauty by planting grass and trees in 20 acres of land of Ram Mandir complex within three months. The challenge of work on the Parikrama Marg of Parkota i.e. Ram Temple still remains. Three lakh cubic feet of stones are to be installed in it.
Nripendra Mishra said that a target has been set to complete this work by June but the executing agency is proving incapable of completing the work till June. This work is also expected to be completed by September. The shortage of workers still persists. L&T has been asked to write a letter to its headquarters asking for increasing the number of workers.
