Thieves escaped with rings from a jewelery shop in Durg City Kotwali police station area. On Wednesday, in broad daylight, a young man riding a bike reached the jewelery shop posing as a customer and asked to show the gold ring. The girl working in the jewelery shop showed the gold ring to the customer and during this the accused wore the ring on all his ten fingers and ran away. The accused took a ring worth about Rs 5 lakh from the jewelery shop and fled on the bike. The whole matter is of Balaji Jewelery Shop of Gaya Nagar of Durg Kotwali police station area.
