Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey said that a fire was reported in the slum in Bahlolpur village on Wednesday night. Initially, three fire engines were sent to the spot but seven other fire vehicles were sent due to the fierce form of fire. The firefighters, along with extinguishing the fire, started taking people out of the slums. More than 50 slums were gutted due to the fire.
At the same time, about 50 to 100 slums were rescued. After the fire, several cylinders took a terrible form in the fire due to continuous explosion. Due to this, smoke and fire began to get rid of. The Chief Fire Officer said that the work of extinguishing the fire is going on till late night and no casualties have been reported yet. Almost all people have been taken out from here.
