1 beetroot, half cup gram flour, 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 green chilli, 2 garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon Maggi masala, salt according to taste

Method to make Beetroot Cheela:

  • Step 1: To make beetroot cheela, first of all put 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 green chilli and 2 garlic cloves in a mixer jar along with beetroot and grind them very finely. Take out this mixture in a large bowl.

  • Step 2: Now in the next step, make a gram flour batter. Now add the beetroot mixture to the gram flour batter and mix them well. Now in this batter, add 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon Maggi masala and salt as per taste. Now keep this paste covered for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Now in the next step turn on the gas and place the pan on it. When the pan is hot, apply a little butter on it. After that take the batter with the help of a ladle and pour it on the pan and spread it in a round shape. Now put some butter on top and cook the cheela from both sides until it turns brown. Your hot beetroot cheela is ready, eat it with chutney.
