A high level meeting was held at PM Modi’s residence regarding the situation in Bangladesh. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman were present in this meeting. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was also present in this meeting. PM Modi discussed the latest situation in Bangladesh with officials and ministers.

It is worth noting that in Bangladesh, protesters have entered the PM’s residence and have vandalised and looted it. Sheikh Hasina has had to resign from the post of PM and leave Bangladesh. According to the information received so far, Sheikh Hasina has reached India by plane and from here she will go to London.

There are reports of damage to 4 Hindu temples in Bangladesh

According to eyewitnesses, the Indira Gandhi Cultural Center (IGCC) and the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum located in the Dhanmondi area of the Bangladesh capital were damaged by a riotous mob on Monday.
