Updated Harley Davidson X440 launched in India |Made-in-India bike gets 3D beigeing with new colour options, price starts at Rs 2.40 lakh

Harley Davidson has launched the updated ‘Harley Davidson X440‘ in the Indian market today (21 August). The company has introduced the Harley Davidson X440 bike with 3 new color options, so now 7 color options are available in it.

The American brand has given the Harley Davidson X440 bike a new colour along with a new 3D bezel on the fuel tank. This is Harley Davidson’s first Made-in-India bike, which the company has made in partnership with Hero MotorCorp. The bike is sold from Hero’s dealerships only.

The new 3D logo will be available in silver color
Harley has given two new colors for the mid-spec Harley Davidson X440 variant – mustard yellow and goldfish color. The company has named this variant Vivid. It has mustard yellow color on the front and rear fender. Apart from this, a silver color Harley Davidson logo will be available on the tank along with mustard yellow color.

The company has introduced the ‘S’ variant of the bike in a new Baja Orange color, but it does not have the new silver badging. Apart from this, there is no change in the bike. Its price starts at Rs 2.40 lakh ex-showroom in the Denim base variant, which goes up to Rs 2.80 lakh in the top variant.

This bike also competes with Harley Davidson X440, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Hunter, Royal Enfield Meteor, Honda CB350, Honda CB350 RS, Benelli Imperiale 400 and Triumph Speed 400.
Harley-Davidson X440: Design
The new Harley-Davidson X440 has a squarish fuel tank, round headlight with LED DRLs, round speedometer above the headlight, indicators and mirrors with wide handle bars. The headlight has a ring-like LED projector, on which Harley-Davidson is written. Along with this, a circular instrument cluster is available.

Harley-Davidson X440: Engine
The company has given a 440CC oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine in Harley-Davidson X440, which is tuned with a 6-speed gearbox. This engine generates 27hp of power and 38Nm of peak torque. The engine is made according to E20 petrol.

Harley-Davidson X440: Braking and Features
Talking about the features of Harley-Davidson X440, it has dual-channel ABS (disc brakes in front and rear) with anti-lock braking system. It comes with preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers. With this, the front wheel is 18 inches and the rear wheel is 17 inches. It has a TFT unit that manages navigation, calls and messages with smartphone connectivity. Apart from this, a USB charging socket is also provided.
