Name earned a lot in national school drama
Piyush Mishra has shared his life story of the 80s and 90s in many of his interviews. After passingout from the National School of Drama, Piyush Mishra started doing theater in Delhi. Used to work here all day long and drown in the arms of alcohol every night. This sequence continued for about 2 decades and the golden days of youth slipped from hand. A young handsome, talented artist, fell to prohibition. However, during the day, Piyush used to work diligently and earn a lot of name due to his passion. But Piyush Mishra, influenced by the ideology of communism, was intent on revolutionizing. The fire and splash of the universe brought out many unmatched samples of art from the mindless mind of Piyush. Piyush also won the hearts of people with his acting in the 2003 film Maqbool. But still could not make his place in Bollywood.
Gangs of Wasseypur made star
Piyush Mishra struggled in Delhi for nearly 2 decades and lost the golden days of youth. After this, Piyush reached Mumbai in the 2000s and kept searching for work here. In 2009, Anurag Kashyap made a film ‘Gulal’. In this film, Piyush also sang songs with acting and was a hit. However, the real identity was given to Piyush Mishra by Gangs of Wasseypur. In this film too, Piyush Mishra sang Kamal songs which were superhit. Just after this film, Piyush started climbing the stairs of stardom. Leaving the black days of alcohol behind, Piyush Mishra wrote a new chapter of struggle and success and even today no other artist like him is in Bollywood. He is also considered a master of acting along with his unemployed, sharp songs and stubborn writing.
