How to find out the truth?

With the help of keyword search, we found a long version of this video on the YouTube channel of ‘Digital Parliament Parliament of India’, in which one can see a part of viral video at 27 minutes 55 seconds. It is said here that this is a video of the Lok Sabha proceedings on 27 March 1998. At that time Mulayam Singh Yadav was in opposition and was giving a speech in the House on the motion of confidence brought by Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

In fact, during his speech, Mulayam Singh Yadav attacked the BJP about Article 370, Ram Temple, and a cheating law brought at that time in Uttar Pradesh. After this, accusing the BJP of giving tickets to criminals, he said that the BJP did not contest any good man against me in the Lok Sabha elections. On hearing this, BJP leader Virendra Singh told Mulayam Singh that you had contested Phoolan Devi against me. After this comment, Mulayam Singh Yadav gave a statement with viral video.
