Indian Railways has an app called NTES i.e. National Train Inquiry System, in which you can get all the information including canceling of the train, route divert, short termination and running stace in one click. You can download this app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The special thing about this app of Indian Railways is that you do not even need to log in. Not only this, you can also get all these information on NTES website.
How to use?
After downloading the NTES app in your phone, you can get options like Spot your train, live station, train schedule, train stations, train exception info on the home page. By using these options, you can get all the information related to the train in just one click.
Spot your train
By clicking on it, you can get information about the existing running status of your train. In this, you have to enter the name or number of the train. After this you can find out the current status of the train. In this, you can also get information about the running status of the train on the basis of the station.
Live station
This is a very useful option, in which you can get information about the train coming or departing at the existing station. In this, you get details of every train passing through that station between 2 hours to 8 hours.
Train exception info
This is a very important option, where you can get information about short terminated trains, dyercut trains and canceled trains. If you want to travel somewhere, then you can find out on this option which train is canceled today or its route has been diverted. Apart from this, you can also get information about train schedule etc. including the list of trains running between one station to another through this app or website.
