How to find out the truth?
On reverse search for the video’s keframes, we found it in a Instagram post of November 15, 2024. Mahakumbh started on 13 February 2025 in Prayagraj. It is clear here that this video is before Mahakumbh starts.
In this post, a person named Ankur Biswas has commented that this video is from Krishnanagar. Krishnanagar is a city in Nadia district of West Bengal.
After this, with the help of keyword search, we received some news reports published about this incident. According to these reports published in November 2024, the incident is from Krishnanagar in West Bengal, where the police had to lathi -charged a large crowd of people during Jagadhatri Pooja immersion.
In fact, on November 11, 2024, some people were taking the statue of Baghadanga Barwari Puja from Krishnanagar to Rajbari for immersion during Jagadhatri Puja. According to the rule of Jagadhatri Puja, the immersion of the idol was to be done in the Jalangi river. But, on the way, some people got into a debate and assault with the policemen at the post office turn of Krishnanagar, after which the police lathi -charged them.
