According to South Korean media, a military unit inside the presidential residence prevented investigators from trying to arrest the president. It is not clear whether the Presidential Security Service, which still protects Yoon as President, will allow Yoon’s arrest warrant to be carried out. It is not yet clear which security unit stopped the CIO investigators. Yoon has been confined to his home since the arrest warrant was issued.
