Restrictions after violence in Sambhaal

After the uproar in Sambhal, many restrictions have been imposed. Entry of outsiders has been banned in Sambhal till December 1. According to the order, entry of outsiders, social organizations and public representatives has been banned in the district. The administration has taken this step in view of the highly sensitive situation. According to the information, weapons have been recovered from the houses of the people detained after the violence and stone pelting. Action will be taken against the miscreants under NSA.

Four youths have died in the violence and 20 policemen are injured in the stone pelting incident. Internet service has been shut down in the district and all schools have also been closed. 21 people including two women have been detained. The accused are being identified through CCTV.

Let us tell you that as soon as the survey team reached Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, the rioters started pelting stones, arson and firing as per planning. The violence started when suddenly stones started being pelted at the police team passing through the streets of Sambhal. In the pictures and videos going viral on social media, one can see how the rioters targeted the policemen trapped in the street and pelted stones.
