A major road accident has taken place in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. Ten devotees have died in the accident. While 19 have been injured. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The police have taken the bodies. Also, the injured have been admitted to the hospital.

According to the information, there was a horrific road accident on the Prayagraj-Mirzapur highway in Meja late on Friday night. 10 devotees died in the accident. Bolero filled with devotees and the bus has a face-to-face collision.
In the accident, all the 10 devotees riding Bolero died on the spot. All of them were from Korba district of Chhattisgarh. All 10 devotees riding Bolero were coming to the fair area for Sangam bath.
In the accident, 19 devotees in the bus have also been injured who were going to Varanasi after the Sangam bath. All the injured have been admitted to CHC Ramnagar. All the devotees in the bus are residents of Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh.
