The Ludhiana police of Punjab arrested a local leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), his girlfriend and four others on Monday in connection with the murder of his wife. Wife attacked with sharp weapon
Police said the incident occurred when Anokhi and his wife Lipsi Ludhiana were returning home after having dinner from a hotel on Ludhiana-Malerkotla Road. Anokh initially told the police that on Saturday, the robbers stopped them with sharp weapons and ran away with their car.
AAP leader arrested with girlfriend
Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal said that the main conspirator of the murder turned out to be the husband of the woman. Chahal said that the police have arrested the woman’s husband and local AAP leader and businessman Anokhi Mittal (35) and her 24 -year -old girlfriend.
Plan for murder with girlfriends
Police said Anokhi’s wife came to know that her husband had a relationship even after marriage, after which she made this plan with her girlfriend. The Police Commissioner said that apart from Anokhi and his girlfriend, four mercenaries Amritpal Singh alias Balli (26), Gurdeep Singh alias Manni (25), Sonu Singh (24) and Sagardeep Singh alias Tej (30) Has also been arrested.
