Maharashtra BJP’s senior leader and former MP Poonam Mahajan has made a shocking claim regarding the murder of her father Pramod Mahajan. He says that his father’s murder was a big conspiracy, which will come to light sooner or later. She also said that she will write a letter to the Union Home Minister and the Home Minister of Maharashtra demanding an investigation into her father’s murder.
‘Smells a conspiracy’
According to media reports, Poonam Mahajan claimed that she smells some conspiracy behind her father’s death. There may be some ulterior motives behind the firing that led to his father’s death. She further said that when this incident happened in 2006, she was not in a condition to raise any suspicion. But there were always doubts in my mind regarding my father’s death. Now that her party is in power both at the Center and in the state, she recalled an incident and said she would write to both Amit Shah and Devendra Fadnavis demanding a thorough investigation into the matter to find out the truth.

It will be around 7:30 in the morning on April 22, 2006. Pramod Mahajan was sitting in the drawing room of his house in Purna Godavari Apartment in Worli (Mumbai). There was some news channel on TV, its sound was coming. Tea was kept on the table in front and the moneylender had that day’s newspaper in his hands.
There is a knock at the door. Rekha, Pramod’s wife, comes out of the bedroom and opens the door. His brother-in-law i.e. Pramod’s younger brother Praveen Mahajan was standing in front wearing jeans and T-shirt. Praveen shot and killed Pramod. He fired four rounds and then surrendered at the nearby police station. On October 30, 2007, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Earlier in 2022 too, Poonam had hinted that there was a mastermind behind her murder and there was more to it than a family feud, which needed to be exposed.
Who is Poonam Mahajan?
Poonam Mahajan joined BJP in 2006 after the murder of her father Pramod Mahajan. Contested MP elections from Ghatkopar West for the first time in 2009, but lost. In 2014, he defeated Priya Dutt of Congress from Mumbai North Central seat. Let us tell you that Poonam is a trend pilot. He has taken his training from Texas, America. He has 300 hours of flying experience. Completed B.Tech degree from Brighton School of Business and Management in 2012.
