More than 30 deaths due to stampede in Kumbh!
Let us tell you that on January 29, on the occasion of Mouni Amavasya at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh Mela, there was a stampede due to increasing crowd before bathing. Mahakumbh Mela officer and Kumbh DIG Vaibhav Krishna held a press conference on the stampede on Wednesday. Officials said that more than 30 devotees died and 60 injured were taken to the hospital in the Mahakumbh stampede accident. Those injured during the stampede have been admitted to different hospitals in the city. Many people have also been admitted to medical college. Out of those who died in the stampede, 25 bodies have been identified. Five have not been identified, for which 1920 helpline number has been released.
