After the summit, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology S Krishnan said that the next AI summit will be held in India later this year. He said that India’s policy on AI has been aware of the possibility of innovation and possible disadvantages as well as providing more productivity and opportunities. India has supported the statements of leaders on inclusive and sustainable AI and expressed his commitment to AI for public interest. India has supported the establishment of the AI Foundation and AI Council.
He said that we have also included AI in G20. A part of the G20 manifesto focuses on what is required to be done in the context of AI and inclusive AI. The African Union and various other institutions were brought to G20, so it was absolutely clear that we were speaking to Global South in this particular place. We already have a memorandum with 17 countries and it is growing. Today the Prime Minister said that inclusion requires inclusion and Global South needs to join it. At the next summit also we will ensure that there is adequate representation of Global South.
Cyber security and deepfec will have to create better techniques
