Neeraj Chopra has shared a video on Instagram which included pictures of him and the coach. In the caption of this post, Neeraj wrote that, I am writing without knowing where to start. Coach, you are more than just a mentor to me. Everything you have taught me has helped me grow as an athlete and person. You have tried your best to ensure that I am mentally and physically prepared for every competition. Neeraj Chopra said that the coach stood by him even during the injury. The coach remained with Neeraj during every ups and downs.
He further wrote that, you were one of the quietest people in the stands but when I used to throw, your words echoed in my ears the most. I will miss your jokes and laughter. But most of all I will miss us as a team. Thank you for being a part of my journey. Thanks for making me your visit.
Chopra achieved a lot of success during his tenure at Bartonitz in Germany. Neeraj won the Olympic gold medal in Tokyo 2020, the Diamond League title in 2022 and the World Championships in 2023. In 2023, he also won the gold medal in the Asian Games.
