New Delhi, 31 December (Gaurav Lalit/Pratyush Ranjan PTI Fact Check, By sharing a photo collage on social media, users are claiming that a mother and son have married each other in Pakistan. In the viral collage, on one side there is a picture of a child and a woman, while on the other side there is a picture of a middle-aged woman and a young boy.
After investigation by PTI Fact Check Desk, the claim made with the viral picture was found to be fake. Investigation revealed that the boy had arranged for his mother’s second marriage and not that they had married each other.

Investigation:
To find out the truth of the claim, the desk did a reverse image search of the key frames of the viral video. We found this picture on the account of Instagram user Abdul Ahad. He had uploaded the viral picture on December 20. He said in the post, “Due to hesitation it took me several days to share the news of my mother’s marriage, but the love and support I received from you is truly tremendous. We found another post on Ahad’s Instagram, where he said, “My mother spent 18 years taking care and raising her children. During this time he also left his happiness and needs behind.
